$50 per tank, delivered
Propane Delivery in Manhattan
Rooftop grills, terrace heaters and restaurant patios, from the Financial District up through Harlem.
Manhattan is the hardest borough in the country to buy propane in. There is no hardware store with a refill cage on the corner, and the nearest exchange racks are a bridge or a tunnel away. So a full tank arrives at your building instead.
Walk-ups, doormen and roof decks
Tell Rodrigo what he is walking into when you call: doorman building, five-floor walk-up, roof deck, service entrance. A full 20lb cylinder is about 37lb, and knowing the stairs in advance is the difference between a ten minute drop and a wasted trip.
Terrace heaters through the winter
Most of the Manhattan route is patio heaters, not grills: restaurants keeping sidewalk seating usable, and apartment terraces running a heater on a cold evening. Heaters drink propane far faster than a barbecue does, so if you are running one nightly, plan on a swap every week or two and get on a standing schedule.
Restaurants and sidewalk seating
If you are running several heaters across a sidewalk cafe, order tanks in batches rather than one at a time. Rodrigo brings them together on one trip, which is faster for you and cheaper than chasing single cylinders all winter.
